Accessible living

Aging in Place

Eric is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist. The work is scoped to the house you have — door widths, shower thresholds, lighting, and the path from bedroom to bath.

One team, from planning to completion.

Scope and timing are tailored to your home and access needs. Our Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist helps you plan for daily life now and in the years ahead.

  • Barrier-free showers that still look like a finished bath
  • Wider doorways, better lighting, and grab-bar blocking
  • Main-level living adjustments before a move is on the table
  • An individualized scope and budget based on your home and access needs

An open main level planned for easier movement
A connected kitchen, dining, and living space in Inver Grove Heights.

Our nature-inspired main-level clients wanted to stay in their home as long as possible. Easier maintenance and room to move were part of the brief from the beginning, alongside the colors and finishes they loved.

Removing a central wall opened the main floor, and the layout was planned so a wheelchair could navigate the space if needed in the future. Cabinet storage and easy-care surfaces support everyday use.

Planning for later life does not have to mean setting your personal style aside. It means discussing your home, routines, and changing needs while the design can still respond.
